According to Healthline, hawthorn berries are a source of polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidant compounds found in plants. Polyphenol antioxidants are effective at neutralizing unstable molecules such as free radicals when present in large amounts. Additionally, the polyphenols in hawthorn berries have many health benefits, including preventing and reducing the risk of asthma, infections, type 2 diabetes, early-stage cancer, and heart problems. 

 

Hawthorn Berries Help Lower Blood Pressure
